We have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 27th April, enquiring whether, after a perusal of the statement of the facts therein contained, our clients, the Executrixes of Tong Wan Chiu and Ku Fai Shan, still wished their Petition to be forwarded to the Secretary of State for the Colonies.

We have now seen our clients upon such letter, and they instruct us to request you to kindly forward the Petition and enclosures to the Secretary of State for the Colonies, and we shall be glad if you will be good enough to do so.
